We're BNI-Blue!

We are a team of 12 members, including two eighth graders, four freshmen, three sophomores, and four juniors. From CADing to building and coding, each member's unique skill sets combine to create a cohesive, hard-working team.

One of our goals as a team is to inspire children and young adults to pursue higher learning in STEM, see that STEM is interesting and fun, and get excited about and involved in robotics.  Each summer, we host a student-led Girls in STEM camp where we do fun activities across STEM, from chemistry to biology to robotics. We also connect with FLL teams and middle schoolers by incorporating enthusiastic eighth graders into our program and helping cultivate their skills in STEM.

Another one of our goals is to be continuously involved in our community and teach others about FTC and our team. From teaching kids how to drive different robots, our handmade mascot and giveaways, to building custom outreach bots like a car or Santa sleighs, we do a lot to teach our community about FIRST robotics and who we are as a team. Some events we host include our school's Back-to-School Bash, a local church’s Preschool Fall Festival, and a Christmas parade at our elementary school. We are more than just a robotics team. We are first and foremost, children of God, but we are also innovators, inspirers, creators, and a family.

As a new FTC team, our team was the third-place alliance captain at the League Championship, the second pick of the number one alliance to go on to be semifinalists at the State Championship. We also won second place for the Think Award at Leagues and the Motivate Award at State. This year, our team is working hard to design an innovative robot for the Into the Deep challenge and looks forward to all the connect and outreach opportunities we have planned.
